The Boone County Ambulance Authority provides emergency pre-hospital care to nearly 27,000 residents in Boone County, WV and has mutual aid response agreements to provide care, if the need should arise, with Kanawha County, Lincoln County, Raleigh County, and Logan County. The Boone County Ambulance Authority responds to calls including, but not limited to; motor vehicle crashes, structure fires, mine injuries, mountain rescues, search & rescues, swift water rescue incidents, rope rescue incidents, heart attacks, falls, shortness of breath, and strokes. The Boone County Ambulance Authority is proud to boast a superior agency rating from the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services and proudly offers some of the best pre-hospital emergency care available in the state. The BCAA provides both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) care to those in need. Our highly skilled employees are trained in, but not limited to; Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support providing our patients with the best care available in the pre-hospital environment.
